Witch Watch: How to find hypnotist who isn't a charlatan

Witch Watch: How to find a hypnotist who isn't a charlatan
from the Farmington Observer March 30, 1978

No, I didn't quit but have been kinda busy lately with traveling, recovering from traveling and then traveling more this weekend so I am slowed by that along with normal life. Although I shouldn't complain, not only because it's pointless but also due to the fact that the travel has been very beneficial. Plus, there is likely a finite limit to the amount of Gundella information out there and I should probably only post three or four times a week anyway so that I can actually maintain the blog for as long as possible without dead-ending it.

Hypnotism! I think the greatest notion about hypnotism is that it's not a feasible concept and though I tend to believe that it isn't, it may be as others contend: greatly dependent on the two parties involved. Myself, I don't think I could be hypnotized under any circumstances because I'm an obstinate sort but as we have seen on the personal level with people in abusive and bad relationships and as well on a more macro level, such as the followers in cults and under willing dictatorships like Nazi Germany, people are greatly susceptible to intense persuasion and coercion. That's not to say that in a controlled, professional environment under the care of a trained practitioner a willing participant can't reap the benefits of that sort of therapy, I just don't think it's something that can be willed by one person onto another without a collaborative effort.
