A lot of people don't like dandelions but I think they're brilliant. That is, for looking at but not necessarily for consumption. My daughter loves them and will grab them right from the ground and chew the fuzzy head like a piece of candy. I'm not so brave. The thought makes me think of raw broccoli and no matter how hard I try to like most raw vegetables I just can't eat them that way. Dandelion wine might be doable but I have a feeling that it would be fairly sweet and taste like a chick drink. Anyway, included is Gundella's grandmother's recipe for dandelion wine.
