Bubble, bubble, workshop trouble

Plymouth Observer, September 16, 1974
Protests by religious organizations and parents accompanied Gundella's 1986 visit to Plymouth-Canton High School to speak on the witches of Salem.

But in 1974 a proposed witchcraft course in the Wayne-Westland adult education program was nixed before it began. Gundella's daughter Madilynne said that the course was actually on the occult and wrongly dubbed witchcraft. Only 3 students had enrolled at the time of the cancellation.
