Kitchen Witch: Grab some sunshine, give a Florida party

The way last year ended and this one began with the flu I sure could have used some Florida! Then again I don't think it's been exactly warm down there either. I can't remember the last time I had it so the latest strain must be fairly intense. Hopefully you don't catch it, as I rarely do, because you'll be giving up eating for 3 or 4 days for a liquid diet of lemon-lime soda pop just to keep you minimally functional.

Well... Gundella suggested that you break open the winter blahs with Yumba-Yumba, Gumba-Gumba, sand on the living room floor (lined with plastic of course) and paper white walls filled with drawings of sunshine fun. No wonder she was described as a fun lady. This would be a perfect winter time break for a group of young children or girls of any age. I can't really see too many guys getting into this though without it becoming a more mature (and I don't mean sophisticated!) theme.

As always, I'll leave the culinary part to a listing of recipe names and say that they all sound delicious or interesting enough: Welcome Home Porkchops, Florida Fruit Dip, Easy Picadello, Fried Plantains.
