I think of all the paranormal fields and phenomenons that automatic writing is probably one of the more specious ones. For one, there's no way to prove that the writing is authentic. Secondly, even if you could, without the actual spirit materializing and confirming the information, what good would it be?
As for birthday flowers and which belongs to what month... well, read it yourself.
Lastly, Gundella gives a plug to a former student and Wayne State University instructor in divination, Dan Wieme. She calls him an excellent seer so it stands to reason that he was probably a good teacher. Hell, he still might be. I couldn't find much information on him but here's quite an excellent picture of him from the Detroit News taken on May 28, 1981.

Have you found any information about Marion Kuclo's tour trips to Sanilac County in the late 70's early 80's.....I would be very interested. Her buses would always stop in front of my mother's old farmhouse on those trips.....
