Since this is only the third column that appeared and the previous two didn't contain a reader question we must assume that this is the first which intrigued Gundella enough to answer in print. It's a question from Monica of Birmingham who seems shocked that an intelligent woman such as Gundella could believe in magic spells. She also wanted one to attract a man that she was interested in. The good witch obliged.
The methods presented are familiar to me because I've read or heard them elsewhere while researching Gundella. Perhaps on her vinyl album or in one of her books but somewhere that I can't recall. I've also tried the methods and got mixed results with each. Mostly I believe that it was due to over usage and not a faulty plan.
